Discovery NotesI got my soil from a grassy area on campus at UTSA. The soil was dark in color, moist, and soft. I collected the soil at 7:31am on October 23rd and it was 70 degrees outisde.
Naming NotesMy last name is Forcha and for many years rooting from my dad we have had a nickname of Forchee. Since first and last names should not be used to name a phage, I decided to do a play on my last name and use the nickname Forchee.
