Naming Notes | Futuristic or modernized rendition of Fortuna (Future + Fortuna), the Roman goddess of luck, fortune, and fate. The sample was in a very small area of moist soil surrounded by lots of sandy soil, but nevertheless tested positive for phage presence. |
