Discovery NotesPhage was isolated from an area of relatively dry soil in a forested, well-vegetated area. The discovery site was within the "Whimsical Woods" of Faust Park in Chesterfield, MO. An enriched, filtered lysate was created and plated as a spot test, which came back positive (had visible plaque).

Plaque NotesPlaques stayed small and pin-point size; they were initially very turbid but became more defined throughout purification. They are relatively consistent in size, but some are still bigger/smaller than others. Shape is also relatively consistent across plates of varying dilutions. For the most part, they form as isolated plaques, although some will cluster in groups of 2-3 on more highly concentrated plates. As purification progressed, they became easier to see and increased in concentration, but never got larger in diameter than 1-2 millimeters.
