Discovery Notes | Found on 1/22/3019 at 7:42pm at a depth of 3-5cm. The soil moisture was damp and clay-like. The soil was found beneath a tree that bears fruit. |
Naming Notes | The dirt that the phage was found it was described at Gunky at one point as we were trying to determine a fitting name, and Monkey sounded good with it and so the name came into existence! The name has no deeper meaning, just a fun name! |
