Discovery NotesI adopted this phage from a student in my laboratory. This phage was collected from a soil sample taken from the flower beds besides Thackeray Hall of the University of Pittsburgh in September. The soil was wet and muddy because it had rained all day. It was warm (66 degrees Fahrenheit) and humid outside.
