Discovery NotesPhage was isolated from a soil sample collected from freshly laid lawn soil in front of 99 Henderson Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Soil was dark, damp, and collected early in the morning on September 13th, 2023 when the ambient air temperature was 21°C. No grass had grown on the soil yet.
Naming NotesPhage was named "Henderson" after the street next to which it was found, Henderson Avenue.
