Discovery NotesThe dirt from which this phage was isolated was found behind some bushes, which were located close to Florence Schneider Hall on WKU's campus.
The collected soil was very dry and lacked much moisture, and was light brown in color and very grainy.
The soil contained a large amount of organic material, such as dead insects and decaying foliage.
Ambient Temperature at Time of Collection: 31.67˚C
Collection Depth from Surface: 7.4 cm
Naming NotesThis phage was named for someone who is very special to me and always supported me during the laborious process required to isolate this phage.
