Discovery Notes | I collected the soil from a tree in between buildings at approximately 9:05 pm on 8/19/25. The temperature was approximately 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and I dug the top 1/2 inch of soil from in between the tree roots. |
Naming Notes | The name for this phage came from a fondness of greek mythology and a fascination of the stars. I named my phage after the greek god hesperus who is described to be the personification of the evening star. |
