Discovery NotesThis phage was isolated from Elena Clay's soil sample, which yielded plaques on two different host plates. She got her soil sample just outside of Crabtree hall.
Naming NotesThis name comes from hit indie game "Hollow Knight." I felt it was appropriate since a major part of the plot has the main character fighting an infection which has taken over the kingdom. It also felt appropriate as later we find the main character to be made from 'void' and as such has no free will or ability to dream, which also felt to me like how a virus could be described.
