Discovery NotesSoil appeared loose, dark and had a lot of grass in it. Sample was taken near a creek and was dug 3-5 cm deep. Although is was near a creek, the soil was dry but not dehydrated - not dusty.

Lysogeny experiments showed that phage is lysogenic.
