Phage discovered in the 6W1 Summer semester at the University of Pittsburgh.

Sample was taken from flowerbeds outside of The Madison on Bellefield Ave., next to the Pittsburgh School for the Blind.

Sample was around numerous types of flowers in a flowerbed that is next to a sidewalk. Sample was very wet and was loose soil. Sample contained no mulch and a few bugs.
Naming NotesOur phage name is an ode to its location of origin, next to the Pittsburgh School for the Blind.

Additionally, given that our group members have slight vision issues that are not severe enough to be designated as legally blind, we decided to name our phage "Illegally" Blind.
