Discovery Notes | Found by: Sarah McKillip, Channah Weiner, Yutang Gao, and Akshath Karthikeyan Phage discovered in the 6W1 Summer semester at the University of Pittsburgh. Naming Notes | Our phage name is an ode to its location of origin, next to the Pittsburgh School for the Blind. Additionally, given that our group members have slight vision issues that are not severe enough to be designated as legally blind, we decided to name our phage "Illegally" Blind. |
