Discovery Notes | Phage was found near a bush in a pretty dry area, next to Crabtree Residence Hall at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The soil composition near the bush is a combination of silt and loam. |
Naming Notes | We were inspired by not only our group members' hard work throughout this experiment but the work of our peers as well. Further, this name is inspired by the movement to encourage underrepresented female scientists to pursue and achieve their goals. |
