Discovery NotesThis sample was collected in a flowerbed outside Langly hall at the University of Pittsburgh. The soil was moist as it had rained the night before. It was collected at 290 feet above sea level.
Naming NotesJames Dixon was a biotech teacher I had in the school year 2016-2017. He reaffirmed my love for biology and doing lab work. I named my first phage after him as a thank you.
