Discovery Notes | Found under a shrub beside a walking trail. Soil depth of 1-2 cm with very moist soil. Soil was covered in snow with an outside temp of 34. |
Naming Notes | Kaiju means monster in Japan, so we thought it would be ironic to name the phage Kaiju as a monster of the host bacteria. |
