Discovery Notes | Soil collected from a flower bed at Litchfield Towers in Pittsburgh, PA. This soil sample is collected from a cool surrounding environment. However, the soil is very moist due to the rain the day before. Also the environment is a flower bed filled with vegetation. |
Naming Notes | My name is Kamya Menon. I thought naming the phage after my first name would be unique and practical since I am the student conducting the experiments on this phage. |
