Discovery NotesBen was walking to his lab when he saw a patch of dirt. He was listening to his favorite song, Dark Horse by Katy Perry. He knelt down in his favorite pants and scooped up some dirt next to the Morrill 3 at Umass Amherst.
Naming NotesWe originally wanted to name our phage "bonk" because funny noise, however that name was taken(sadness). We then randomly generated names until we found Kimmo which we thought flowed off the tongue nicely and we stuck to it.
