Discovery NotesThis sample was collected near the campus pond on the campus of UMass Amherst. The conditions were very wet and muddy.
Naming NotesWe named our sample "Lake" because the sample was collected near a pond, however the name "Pond" was already taken. We landed on the name "Lake" because we wanted a name that embodied the fact that the same was collected near a body of water.
