| Plaque Notes | Phages vary in two types of morphology. One is a large phage which has a diameter of 2mm and has no turbidity. It seeps through the TA to make a hole. The other phage is small that is about 1.5 mm in diameter which also has no turbidity and seeps through the TA to make a hole. Plate 10^-7 had 71 plaques and plate 10^-6 has 103 plaques. There is approximately 4 x 10^10 phages that can be used for the phage genomic DNA experiment. |
