Discovery NotesThis bacteriophage was found on September 3rd 2012 at 4:57 PM by Mirror Lake on Ohio State's campus. The approximate depth dug was 1.5 inches. The soil was moist and the temperature was 79 degrees Fahrenheit. It had rained earlier in the day, but the weather was completely clear when the phage was discovered. The bacteriophage was dug up near a garbage can and a nest where Mallard duck offspring were living.
Naming NotesI named the phage after my lucky number, which is the number seven.
