Plaque Notes | The plaque morphology of phage Mangix pictured above was obtained from ten micro liters of a 10^-2 dilution of filtrate plated on 7H9 agar medium with M.smegmatis plating stock. The plaques produced by this phage are mildly turbid, but not fully opaque, and appeared after a 48 hour incubation at 30℃. Each plaque averages around 3mm, +- 1mm in size, with greater amounts of variation appearing in rare instances. |
