Discovery NotesCollected in a grassy area underneath snow 100ft from the Sycamore dorm building. Soil was collected about 2 inches from surface level. Soil was damp, with minimal gravel and a dark brown color.
Naming NotesThis phage was found outside the Sycamore dorm of the UMass Amherst campus and it is also the name of a tree home to Massachusetts where the phage was found.
