Discovery NotesRight outside the entrance of Melville Hall, the dirt was collected from right next to the side walk, having to brush away some snow to get at it, but the ground was surprisingly not very frozen solid.
Naming NotesThe plaques that we got were very very small, roughly 1mm in diameter... hence the "Mini". One of the morphology features we noted was that all the plaques had a very small dot in the center of the plaque lawn, making it a kind of ring, or halo, hence the "Donut". Put it together and you get "MiniDonut"!

Plaque NotesAll plaques are 1mm or smaller.
They are clear as far as we can tell.
Most, at least the bigger ones where you can see them with the eye, have a small white dot in the center of the plaque lawn, giving it the shape of a halo or a donut.
