Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected during the middle of the week prior to the workshop from the grass clippings pile in my backyard. The total pile stands approximately 2 feet in height. The sample was collected from within the pile where the grass no longer has the appearance of grass but is quite decayed. The sample was moist and brown when collected, and I imagine that it was warm as well. |
