Discovery Notes | This was found right outside of our laboratory, although our TA told us to find soil from outside the region. It was located in a low-traffic area. It was near a muddy area and we had dug a few inches under the surface. |
Naming Notes | I chose this name for our phage because I enjoy watching Mukbangs. It reminds me of the lytic cycle of phage as the phage is the food and the people eating the food are the host cells. But we don’t explode, just obese. |
