Discovery NotesI collected dark moist soil from behind a horse farm fence, located next to Liberty park in Parkland, Florida. Soil collected from under a small tree trunk.
I collected the soil on September 5th, 2021. I had rained the previous day, therefore the soil was still moist, but not wet because it was under the tree trunk. The temperature during the day was between 27-28 degrees celsius.
Naming NotesI asked my little brother to help me come up with a name for my phage, he asked what a phage was and after I explained what it was he said "Name it venom, or walter". His nickname is Mu so I decided to name the phage Muvenom.
