Discovery Notes | This sample was retrieved from behind a dumpster next to an apartment complex. The environment included multiple dumpsters within the vicinity and no greenery nearby. The patch of dirt was sitting upright against the building, and it was surrounded by pavement. The founders are Zein Sallah, Zachary Glavin, and Edi Shabani. This phage was found at the University of Pittsburgh in the spring semester of 2025. |
