Discovery NotesI collected soil from coordinates 33.22158ºN, 97.16471ºW in southeastern Denton, Texas. The temperature was 77ºF in the evening. As the location where I collected was dry and on the side of the road, there wasn't much other than grass that seemed to be dying due to how dry the area was. I dug about an inch into the ground before I started collecting soil, so I wouldn't get any rocks or grass in the plastic bag.
Naming NotesIn memory of my dog.
