Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on September 17 (2021) from the forest floor, a few feet off of a trail at the Western Point of Trail 51 – National Capital Commission (NCC). The T51 waypoint sign was adjacent to the sampling site. The surrounding soil was loosely packed and relatively moist.
Naming NotesThe appearance and pattern of plaques on my first plaque assay reminded me of a constellation in the night sky so I decided to name my phage "Night".
