Discovery NotesThe soil was collected from the base of a tree next to a college campus building. It had a hard, dry texture on top and was moist underneath wood chips. The soil itself was a cool temperature. There was no rain fall prior to collection.
Naming NotesThe name originates from my own name. My aunt, a researcher herself, would call me nishthefish as a playful gesture. I'm known as nishthefish in my family and the name, in a way, represents my personality, similar to my phage.
