The August 26 soil sample was collected outside of Clapp Hall near a few bushes in a fairly secluded area. The surrounding environment includes grass and trees; it was not taken from an area that is frequently walked on. The soil was very dry and chunky; it was dark in color. The sample was slightly difficult to filter, as there were large chunks that remained after filtration
Naming NotesOur inspiration came from the ethanol utilized to clean our lab benches everyday.
