Discovery Notes | The sample was collected at surface level from a horse pasture south of Warner, SD. The soil was dry and had sparse patches of local grasses. The sample was taken on August 25th, 2021 at 6:00PM. |
Naming Notes | Parabellum is the Latin word for "Prepare for War". In relation to one of my little brother's favorite movies, John Wick 3 Parabellum, my brother thought this name was appropriate given this phages lytic nature. |
