Discovery NotesSoil was extracted on a gloomy and rainy afternoon, around 8:09pm, with a plastic spoon and bag. Located in Aubrey Texas, in a home backyard under a growing tree with the coordinates 33.22607° N, 96.97434° W. As previously stated, the afternoon was gloomy with isolated thunderstorms and rain sprinkling and a temperature of 93°F (~34°C).

The soil itself was still extremely dry a the rain hasn’t hit it yet. There were small pieces of fallen bark mixed with the soil because it was collected about an inch below surface.
