Discovery Notes | The ground where I collected the soil sample was covered with overgrown weeds and also had decaying plants. Both of these observations are in accordance with the fact that it is a very low trodden, fenced in yard, so there are minimal instances of disturbance to this environment. |
Naming Notes | Petitcroissant is in reference to my friend's phage from 2018 which was named petitebaguette as a continuation of her phage's legacy. |
