Discovery NotesThis phage was taken at approximately 12:30 PM from a particularly dry soil sample found on a hot summer's day at 88°F. The soil was not only dry, but it was a light brown color containing some remnants of dead grass roots and artificial nutrients.
Naming NotesThe phage's name is both a play on words and has personal meaning. The "Ph" at the beginning of the word references the "Ph" in the beginning of the word "Phage." The name also relates to the word "Felicidad," meaning happiness in the Spanish language. This name combines two things that bring me joy: the Spanish language and scientific research.
