Discovery Notes | The soil was taken from about four inches from the top of the soil. The soil could be described as wet and very clumpy. The soil was taken from a bald patch of ground, but the bald patch was surrounded by many large trees and bushes. There was also moss growing around the area of soil that the sample was taken from. |
Naming Notes | The name of the phage was inspired by the guy who was the Bachelor on the ABC show "The Bachelor" in 2020. The finale was coming up for the show, so it was what was on the soil collector's minds. |
