Discovery Notes | This soil sample was collected from a garden bed. Surrounding the soil were lots of flowers and roots. It was collected from approximately one inch under the surface and was a dark brown color and moist. |
Naming Notes | I named my phage "PowerHouse" in inspiration from the Kansas State "Powercat" since this sample was taken from the Kansas State campus. Phages are very powerful and full of possibilities, making this name fitting. |
