Discovery Notes | It was around 12 degrees celsius when the sample was gathered. The seasons were in the middle of changing so there were many leaves on the ground at the time. It had not rained for a few days so the ground was dry. The sample was gathered 20 feet into a wooded area behind an elementary school. |
Naming Notes | I have a friend who's last name is Merkling, who we call Merk. He wears number 30 so I thought it would be cool to name the phage after him. |
