Discovery NotesTaken on a hill above a lake from underneath the bark of a rotting log. (The interior of the log was mostly soil, and very damp. It was in a shaded area about 30ft off the trail. The sample was taken August 16th, 2012 and kept refrigerated until September 2012 where it was analyzed in lab i at Carnegie Mellon University.
Naming NotesNamed after the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, by Tom Stoppard. S2 is because it was referred to throughout the discovery as Sample 2 (S2)
