Plaque Notes | The plaques show a temperate morphology, with a dark turbid zone in the middle a and a surrounding cloudy lytic zone. The lytic zone varies in size and is independent to the dilution its plated with. The plaques can range from 2mm to over 20mm. The plaques are symmetrical and its color is not very distinct, with it being mainly white (making contamination easy to spot). Its shape is symmetrical, but depending on the size of the lytic zone the symmetry can vary |
