Discovery NotesThe sample was extracted from a garden. After digging 3 - 4 inches below the surface, the darker brown underbelly was used for the phage sample.
Naming NotesI named my phage after my old dog, Rusty. I also named it this, because my original phage had a slight orange coloring, and we as a group had a rusty start to this project.
