Discovery NotesThe samples were taken from a freshly mown sample of grass (2-4 inches down) and the compost, soil sample, was taken form a pile 2-4 inches down. The grass sample, enriched isolation, was used to create the phage samples. This was because out of the two samples, grass and soil or the compost, the only sample that came out to have any phage was the grass sample.
Naming NotesThe reasoning for the word Seikatsu, which is the Japan word for life, was because life was found in an area where people less expect it, it can be found anywhere and everywhere.
