Discovery Notes | This phage was found near a baseball field in Ridgefield Park, Albany, near standing water from a nearby rain. The recent rains made the soil easy to collect. The sample was around an inch and a half from the surface. |
Naming Notes | SharleenJM comes from the name of my late grandmother. The JM at the end comes from a combination of family last names. Interestingly enough, my grandmother was a huge baseball fan. I chose the name to honor her. |
