Discovery NotesThe soil sample was found on a small grassy patch near a walkway by Coolidge Hall at Umass Amherst. The dirt was mainly dry with little moisture and grass with small roots.
Naming NotesWe named our phage SillyGeese because we see a lot of geese on our school's campus when we are walking to our lab. The chosen name made our group all happy.
