Discovery Notes | This was collected in an open field, where there was a cut in the grass exposing the soil. This part of the soil was hard, due to the cold temperature at the time. Therefore, the soil was very clumpy and cold. |
Naming Notes | The phage name chosen for our group was Slipknot. This is due to two group members being fans of this band and noticed that a decent amount of song names are fitting for a virus, however it was easier to use the name of the band itself as an homage. |
