Discovery NotesThis was collected in an open field, where there was a cut in the grass exposing the soil. This part of the soil was hard, due to the cold temperature at the time. Therefore, the soil was very clumpy and cold.
Naming NotesThe phage name chosen for our group was Slipknot. This is due to two group members being fans of this band and noticed that a decent amount of song names are fitting for a virus, however it was easier to use the name of the band itself as an homage.
