Discovery NotesThis phage was found near Carnegie Mellon's Fence. This fence is painted often and so I imagine the soil around it has much paint debris in it. It's an area where many humans walk and congregate. It was found in August in Pittsburgh, where it is hot and humid.
Naming NotesOriginally I named my phage "Murphy" because with this phage, everything that could have gone wrong did. However, the name "murphy" was already taken, so smirfy was the next best option.
