| Discovery Notes | This sample was collected in my backyard in Great Bend, Kansas under a patch of sunflowers. This area gets lots of light and watered regularly. The soil was damp when dug and collected from about 1/3 foot down into the ground. It was stored in a Ziplock bag in a fridge for 2 days until it was used. |
| Naming Notes | Due to the soil coming from a patch of sunflowers in an area that gets lots of sunlight, I thought Sunbeam was fitting. |
