Discovery NotesGPS coordinates of adopted phage show soil collection location as being in the area between some tall trees and the Morrill science building I. The location seems to have a mulchy and relatively moist terrain.
Naming NotesWe came up with the name SuperSmudge because we smudged a plate by mistake last week so we thought it was relevant. We added the adjective Super because our phage created many plaques during the first round of isolation and therefore we believe it is a powerful phage.
