Discovery NotesThe phage was found in a hidden trail behind the Museum of Science and Industry. This trail is often unvisted. There was no rain in the last 24 hours and the temperature was 32.2 C. The soil was found under a decaying log that was pushed over. The soil was dark and dry with decaying material present. Few plants were nearby but the area was heavily forested.
Naming NotesDuring my walk of the trail, I met another man who was looking for arrowheads in a sinkhole that was said to be off the trail. I named my phage Tocobaga after the native tribe that was present in Tampa during the 16th century.
