Discovery Notes | Members: Ethan Santiago, Janin Apreku, Sarah Ali Soil was collected beside a small man-made pond in a park at night (~8:30 pm EST). The soil was pond-side, very wet, and surrounded by tall grasses and even some flowers. No irregular difficulty in filtering the sample. |
Naming Notes | Original phage activity resembled that of a "mesa," so the name Tumble was chosen as a play on the wild-west tumbleweed. |
