Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected near a tree just outside a nearby park in Plano. The soil had vegetation around it, however it was just grass. A hole was dug about half an inch from the surface in order to extract the sample. This soil sample had a little bit of organic matter in it. The color was of a dark brown with a grayish tint and happened to be slightly moist due to the recent rain that has fallen. The outside temperature was about 45°F or 8°C. The soil was collected at about 6:41 PM
Naming NotesI have an admiration for flamingos and conservation efforts for them. I also though since a phage is a virus, then the term undead would be fitting for it.
